The Ministry of Natural Resources has launched a level IV geological disaster prevention response in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan.

Affected by Typhoon No.6 "Wipha", in the next three days, some areas of Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan and other places will experience heavy rain, with locally extremely heavy rain. The Geological Hazard Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources judged that there is a high risk of geological disasters in some areas of western Guangdong, southeastern Guangxi, and western Hainan. According to the "Work Plan for Response to Geological Hazards Defense" of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Natural Resources decided to initiate a Level IV response to geological hazard defense at 10:00 on July 19th.
