The resale of heavily-depreciated inventory vehicles as new cars has led to users in multiple locations being denied their rights to return and receive compensation.
According to media reports, since May of this year, as an intelligent electric vehicle brand under Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, Jike has been accused of using a direct-operated store system to sell a large number of inventory vehicles that have been insured and transferred as new vehicles to unaware consumers, using tactics such as "limited-time discounts", leading to a large number of complaints. The reports also pointed out that this operation by Jike has been playing out in many places nationwide: consumers in places like Guizhou, Chongqing, and Guangzhou have found out that the "new car" they purchased has already had compulsory insurance purchased or even completed the transfer registration, turning into a full-fledged "second-hand car". When they request compensation for their rights, they are often met with delays or refusals. Sina Technology reached out to Jike for confirmation on the above information, but as of the time of publication, there has been no official response.
