In September 2024, there was an increase of 66,000 public charging stations compared to August 2024, a year-on-year increase of 35.2%. As of September 2024, a total of 3.329 million public charging stations were reported by members of the alliance, including 1.501 million DC charging stations and 1.827 million AC charging stations. From October 2023 to September 2024, an average of about 72,000 public charging stations were added each month. In terms of the operation of public charging infrastructure by province, region, and city, the top 10 regions in terms of the percentage of public charging stations constructed are Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong, Hubei, Anhui, Henan, Sichuan, and Beijing, accounting for 69.3% of the total. The charging electricity in the country is mainly concentrated in provinces such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Fujian, Henan, and Shaanxi, with the electricity mainly used by buses and passenger cars, while vehicles like sanitation and logistics trucks and taxis account for a smaller proportion. In September 2024, the total national charging electricity was about 5.04 billion kWh, a decrease of 260 million kWh compared to the previous month, an increase of 58.6% year-on-year, and a decrease of 4.9% month-on-month. As for the operation of public charging infrastructure operators, as of September 2024, the top 15 charging station operators in the country are: TELD (special electric vehicle charging operator) operating 640,000 stations, Xingxing Charging operating 584,000 stations, Quick Charge Cloud operating 557,000 stations, State Grid operating 196,000 stations, UJET Cloud operating 184,000 stations, Xiaoju Charging operating 184,000 stations, Southern Grid operating 90,000 stations, Shenzhen EV Network operating 87,000 stations, Charge Ocean operating 86,000 stations, YWEnergy operating 77,000 stations, Wan Cheng Wan Charge operating 54,000 stations, Blue Fast Charge operating 51,000 stations, JUNYUECHONG operating 40,000 stations, Kunlun Network Electrical operating 38,000 stations, and Wanma Aichong operating 36,000 stations.
