China Southern Airlines (01055) announced that in January 2025, the group's passenger capacity (measured in available seat kilometers) increased by 12.47% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international sectors increasing by 6.03%, 13.80%, and 34.29% respectively. Passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger kilometers) also increased by 17.67% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international sectors increasing by 9.71%, 16.89%, and 46.33% respectively. The passenger load factor was 84.76%, an increase of 3.74 percentage points year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international sectors increasing by 2.85%, 2.03%, and 6.95% respectively. In terms of cargo operations, in January 2025, the group's cargo capacity (measured in available ton kilometers - freight and mail) increased by 4.13% year-on-year, while freight and mail traffic (measured in revenue ton kilometers - freight and mail) decreased by 0.81% year-on-year. The cargo load factor was 46.81%, a decrease of 2.33 percentage points year-on-year.
