On July 25, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange announced the trading overview data of the Chinese foreign exchange market in June 2025. The data shows that in June, the total trading volume of the Chinese foreign exchange market (excluding the foreign exchange market, the same below) was 25.55 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.56 trillion US dollars). Among them, bank-customer market trading was 3.68 trillion yuan (equivalent to 0.51 trillion US dollars), and interbank market trading was 21.88 trillion yuan (equivalent to 3.05 trillion US dollars); spot market accumulated trading was 8.91 trillion yuan (equivalent to 1.24 trillion US dollars), and derivative market accumulated trading was 16.64 trillion yuan (equivalent to 2.32 trillion US dollars). From January to June, the total trading volume of the Chinese foreign exchange market was 150.87 trillion yuan (equivalent to 21.00 trillion US dollars).
