According to the data disclosed, in July, the electricity generated by industrial enterprises above designated size was 926.7 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 3.1% year-on-year, with the growth rate accelerating by 1.4 percentage points compared to June; the daily average electricity generation was 298.9 billion kilowatt hours. From January to July, the electricity generated by industrial enterprises above designated size was 54,703 billion kilowatt hours, an increase of 1.3% year-on-year. Excluding the effect of the number of days, the daily average electricity generation increased by 1.8%.
In terms of different types, in July, the growth rates of electricity generation by thermal power, wind power, and CECEP Solar Energy from industrial enterprises above designated size accelerated, while hydropower saw a wider decrease, and the growth rate of nuclear power slowed down. Specifically, the electricity generated by thermal power in industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 4.3% year-on-year in July, with a growth rate accelerating by 3.2 percentage points compared to June; hydropower decreased by 9.8%, with a decrease widening by 5.8 percentage points compared to June; nuclear power increased by 8.3%, with a growth rate slowing down by 2.0 percentage points compared to June; wind power increased by 5.5%, with a growth rate accelerating by 2.3 percentage points compared to June; and CECEP Solar Energy from industrial enterprises above designated size saw an increase of 28.7%, with a growth rate accelerating by 10.4 percentage points compared to June.
