On Friday, all three major US stock indexes rose, with the Hong Kong ADR index also rising proportionally to close at 17,623 points, an increase of 169.31 points or 0.96% compared to the close of the Hong Kong market.
Most large-cap stocks also rose, with HSBC HOLDINGS closing at HKD 60.16, an increase of 1.88% from the Hong Kong market close. TENCENT closed at HKD 319.28, up 1.29% from the Hong Kong market close.
