According to the summary data monitored by the Office of the Leading Group for Logistics Facilitation and Road Transport Security of the State Council, from February 26 to March 3, national freight logistics operated in an orderly manner. Specifically: national railways transported a total of 72.672 million tons of goods, an increase of 7.67% compared to the previous period; national highways saw a total of 46.949 million trucks passing through, an increase of 42.82% compared to the previous period; monitored ports completed a total cargo throughput of 233.005 million tons, an increase of 21.15%, with a container throughput of 4.912 million TEUs, an increase of 12.40% compared to the previous period; civil aviation ensured the operation of 118,000 flights (including 3,629 cargo flights, including 2,163 international cargo flights and 1,466 domestic cargo flights), a decrease of 0.86% compared to the previous period; postal and express delivery services collected approximately 2.871 billion items, an increase of 3.76% compared to the previous period; and a total of approximately 2.971 billion items were delivered, an increase of 10.69% compared to the previous period.
