CrowdStrike (CRWD.US) will announce its 2024 fiscal fourth quarter earnings after the US stock market closes on March 5 (Tuesday). The company expects Q4 revenue to be between $8.366 billion and $8.40 billion, with non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.81 to $0.82. In comparison, Zacks generally expects revenue of $8.391 billion, a 31.7% increase year-over-year; and earnings per share of $0.82, a 74.5% increase year-over-year.
Over the past four quarters, CrowdStrike's earnings have exceeded Zacks' expectations, with an average beat of 16.6%.
Given the healthy environment in the global security market, CrowdStrike's performance in the fourth quarter of the 2024 fiscal year may reflect the continued strong demand for its products. More people logging into their employer's networks has led to increased security needs, potentially stimulating demand for CrowdStrike's products in the fourth quarter.
The strong growth in subscription business may have made significant contributions to the fourth quarter revenue. The increase in net new subscription users may have also played a driving role.
Zacks expects CrowdStrike's fourth quarter subscription revenue to be $7.889 billion, a 31.9% increase year-over-year. Professional services revenue is expected to increase by 22.4%, reaching $47.8 million.
Furthermore, CrowdStrike's partnership with Amazon AWS is a positive factor, benefiting the company from the availability of its products on the AWS platform.
However, the increase in sales expenses and research and development investments may drag down the company's profit in the fourth quarter.
